Playtime is back! Originally launched in 1959, Pin Play was a staple of every playroom and toy chest for over 40 years. Now decades later, Entertainment Earth is bringing Pin Play back with wooden Pin Mates from the hottest licenses for kids and collectors such as Marvel, DC Comics, and KISS, as well as classic favorites like Luckee the Dog (available first at SDCC). This panel will premiere the newest Pin Mates and offer a look into the dangers of app-based toys as well as why open-ended creative play is needed to stimulate young imaginations. In 2018, Spyro the Dragon is soaring to new heights in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Geoff Keighley will moderate a panel that will connect Spyro's creation with his present by giving fans an exclusive look into the creative process behind the original games from the '90s and the 2018 remastered collection. Panelists include Ted Price, Brian Hastings, and Brian Allgeier from the original Insomniac Games development team, Paul Yan, Josh Nadelberg, and Stephan Vankov from Toys For Bob, Stewart Copeland (composer of the original Spyro soundtrack), Tom Kenny (the voice of Spyro), and Michael John (Producer at Universal Interactive Studios on the original trilogy).
